Contractor buying guide

What makes a qualified home service lead?

Define qualification before launch

Use observable criteria: correct location, accepted project type, usable contact details, and a person expressing interest in the service. Identify whether ownership, budget, and timing are verified or only self-reported.

Separate inquiry from appointment

A lead is not automatically a booked appointment, and an appointment is not a sold job. Ask precisely which stage you are buying and what verification is performed.

Document exceptions

Agree on how duplicates, wrong numbers, out-of-area inquiries, and unsupported project types are handled. Include the reporting deadline and the evidence needed for a credit request.
